Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you use our website and book our services.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply when you use beatzhire.co.uk and when you book event production, DJ, sound, lighting, staging or equipment hire with Beatz Hire ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them before you book. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

1. About us

Beatz Hire provides event production and equipment hire across London and the South East. You can contact us by email at workwithus@beatzhire.co.uk or by phone on 01252 929414.

2. Using our website

  • The information on our website is for general guidance. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but equipment, packages and prices can change, so your written quote is what counts.
  • All content on the website, including text, photos, videos, logos and graphics, belongs to us or the people who license it to us. Please do not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
  • You must not misuse the website, for example by introducing viruses, trying to gain unauthorised access or sending spam through our forms.
  • Links to other websites are there for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

3. Quotes and bookings

  • Every booking starts with a written quote setting out the equipment, services, dates, price and any deposit and payment terms.
  • Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Prices shown on our website are a guide only.
  • Your booking is confirmed once we confirm it to you in writing and any deposit stated on your quote has been paid.
  • Your quote and booking confirmation form part of our agreement with you. If anything in them differs from these terms, the quote or booking confirmation applies.

4. Payment

Payment is due as set out in your quote or invoice. If a payment due before your event has not been received, we may not be able to supply the equipment or services.

5. Changes and cancellations

If you need to change or cancel a booking, please tell us in writing as soon as possible. Any cancellation charges are set out in your quote or booking confirmation. If we have to cancel for a reason within our control, we will refund any payments you have made for the cancelled services.

6. Dry hire

If you hire equipment without our crew (dry hire):

  • The equipment remains our property at all times and must not be lent or sub-hired to anyone else.
  • You are responsible for the equipment from the time you collect it, or we deliver it, until it is back with us.
  • You must make sure it is used safely, by competent people and in line with any instructions we give, and that it is protected from weather, liquids, theft and misuse.
  • Please tell us straight away about any fault, and do not attempt repairs yourself.
  • Equipment must be returned on time, clean and in the same condition you received it. Charges for late return, loss or damage are set out in your quote or booking confirmation.

7. Event production with our crew

  • You must give our crew safe access to the venue at the agreed times and tell us in advance about any access, parking, noise, power or load-in restrictions.
  • Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you are responsible for venue permissions and any licences your event needs.
  • Our crew may refuse to install or operate equipment, or stop doing so, if they believe it is unsafe.

8. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
  • If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.
  • If you are a business customer, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, power failures at the venue or road closures.

9. Your personal data

We use your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you make your booking applies to that booking.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
